No Point!!

There really is no point in playing this game anymore with the hacking issue. I mean since the artifacts fix there are thousands more hackers running rampant it seems. Spending 4 hours gearing up to just be dropped from the sky is pointless, can't do it any longer. The only thing i do now is log on run to Elektro or Cherno and find a lee or AK and start shooting everyone, 30 min later log. There is no "SURVIVAL" anymore its to the point that there is no point. I know there is nothing that can be done and that's why the player base has dropped off im sure. I used to like to come to the forums and read people's adventures and such but all you see anymore is "Hacker on server ....." I think last night was it for me, looking back i mean what did i accomplish "Nothing" in 4 hrs of playing killed by hackers 3 different times. SO the hackers have WON cya in standalone :)

I've not had much in the way of hacker problems, but last night we had quite a few script kiddie encounters, they are just pathetic tbh!

It did. I have been hit by three hackers this month and I haven't even seen one in my first 2 months.

I really love the game it's one of the BEST.. Maybe i've played too much as of late and just getting bad servers. It's demoralizing how the last few dayz/weekz have gone and i'm not going to download a hack program and start ruining other peoples times. So maybe a break is what I need and just embrace the hackers as part of the game, i dunno!

Sad thing is I cant remember last time I died to a real player shooting. I've tried private Hives and its the same thing a few hours of game play and "BAM" insta dead. So now what do I do?? Spend time with my girlfriend... ugghhh lol. My group quit a month ago I was all that was left of a 6 man team, kinda sad. But all in all still a great game and will continue to support Dayz and Rockets Team. Thanks Guys!

Not sure how it takes you four hours to gear up.. in the first 20-30 minutes I usually have a compass backpack foods/drinks and an ak at the very least.

As for hackers. Myself and the small group I play with have had very minimal run in's with hackers. I'd tell you to play on a smaller population server, but we play on full servers all the time and never/hardly ever have any issues.

Maybe try playing on private hives? unlike the official hives they have extra precautions put into effect as well as admins that can actually use the power they have to safe guard the server they pay for!
