Itemization and Private Hives

Hi there

My question is if a private server can have other items/weapons spawning, that isnt in usual Dayz?

Reason il ask is that i found the black SUV on a private server and that it looked like it was just spawned, missing all sorts of parts, but..

It had several weapons not in original Dayz in the stash.

Strange part is that it wasnt the usual hackzor armament, no AS50TWS, no silenced G36 etc

Just some kind of a stanag sniper(looked like a M16/M4A1 but with a DMR scope attached, dont remember the name) and an AKS(its was like a different version of the AKM, only difference was the visual apperance)

So.. the normal hackzored stuff or is it possible to have "specials" included in private servers?

If you know how, you can edit Dayz down to the smallest detail.

Weapons vehicles and everything else.

I know the SUV is standard in the Bliss setup, so you might have been at a bliss server :)

You can have extras in Private servers, We have a Black SUV on Chers and Lingor ^_^

again the SUV is standard in the Bliss setup mate. all with Bliss will have it, unless you manually remove it from the spawn script :)

Ye, i was aware of some of the special vehicles, like the black SUV, but.. i havent seen special weapons spawn, like the ones i found in the black SUV before.

Ive found lots of hacked weapons before, dead players, tents, weapons crates etc

Except that i got the expression that theese was spawned with the SUV.

Its possible people collected hacked weaps and saved em in the SUV?

it could also have been spawned in with full inventory, but hackers usually spawn a bigger vehicle, at least on my server :) like a Ural or V3S.

But it can spawn legit ingame, when using BlissHIVE software. There is also the possibility, that the admins on your server have added custom vehicles and weapons to the server, its very possible :)

You are gonna have to consult the Admin/Admins of the server to get answers and the Bliss software has a standard "layout" so only he knows what is changed in his setup ;)

If you want the weapons to auto-spawn, you would need to adjust the CFGBuildingLoot file in the DayZ code. Otherwise, you can manually adjust a player's inventory to have any weapon that ARMA 2 supports, you just have to know the model-name of the specific weapon and know how to manually update your database.
