Finding other people to play alongside?

Recommended Posts

I don't know anyone IRL who plays DayZ, and was after some tips on how to find other people to play alongside. (as in-game there seems to be very little VOIP, and total PVP).

It can get real lonely on those long treks without people on TS to chat to, or combine forces with.

Have a look in the 'Bandit Campfire' or 'Survivor HQ' forums, you'll find someone there.

Skype works ok for voip, if you can accept the occasional coughing, sneezing, background chatter, but I like how everyone is live without a push to talk button. :)

Reading recruitement posts on forums is a fast way to get to know people. Probably a better idea to stick with people of same nationality to talk more fluently and generally keeping a lower ping, instead of simply talking english with strangers from other countries..
