Well Dayz is FUBAR. Also, Sp86, idk why but i'm like obsessed over him for the past 2 days lol. Slender Man was brought up in a dayz video on youtube and again on the Dayz myths page so i thought why not make a dedicated page for him?

Which reminds me, there's been several occasions where i've button mashed L during the pitch black darkness just to have nothing happen. My flashlight just refused to turn on if i was standing, crouching, proning, running, walking, or just standing still.

I havent seen/heard any slenderman, But one time when a friend and I were farming the NWAF we decided to head out to Green mountain to check for the ATV. It started out as any normal long distant run. I initiated my auto run and headed south west. Almost immediately after we hit the mountain we could hear some strange howling. We thought maybe it was some players over the ingame communication. As we got closer to the compound we could hear OINKS! I went afk in a tree to use the washroom, my friend went on ahead. he climbed the tower and saw what he thought was a player wearing a hero skin. My friend asked if he was friendly. The player stood with his back towards my friend for a good minute, all while my friend kept asking if he was friendly. a moment later the hero spun around. To my friends surprise the players face and hands were of that of a pig! he let out a screaching OINK!!!!!!!!!! so loud I could here it through my headphones from the washroom. My friends character fell to the ground broken legs/knocked out and bleeding. All of a sudden he can see his screen changing. The Herobrine like creature was dragging his body into the tower. Once he regained consciousness the herobrine was gone! Tags were on for this server and I believe my friend said his name was Steve.

But Slender Man the game is pretty pants, theres a load more better games out there with huge more variance and originality with the same kind of fear, like Amnesia or any of the Penumbra games. Also The Path is a great indie title.

But then again these kind of games where the formula (according to this retard I just quoted) isnt the grab a gun and start shooting/kill something, so you may find it very boring.

I believe the word you were looking for was fables. Foibles are minor character defects. For instance I would cite a minor English deficiency as one of your foibles, but only if English is your Primary Language.

The slender man esque image is nothing new.

I'd Prefer a Czech or Eastern Block Mythic character to be in game if any *had* to be in it.

Lets not argue about how myths/shoot 'em ups are boring, just talk about the slender man.

I actually haven't been on Dayz in a week and so i haven't been able to experience anything but that's alright. I'm sure i could BS my way into saying that the pig hero was slender man screwing with you guys, especially with the screech and insta broken legs and then being dragged away. As for slender man being afraid of green mountain, highly doubtful.
