First nade kill

I tried out one of them hardcore servers with no 3RD person.

I have to say, it was one of the most intense moments ever. I feel so VULNERABLY without 3rd person and it added a whole new side to the game. I logged in some bushes in the middle of this field and to my surprise, there was a dude about 100 meters away from me. For some reason I had an L85 out and decided to try and shoot him. It was a bad idea and he found some cover in some bushes in front of me. I was panicking so much, my heart was racing, then I thought "I have a grenade. Fuck yes." - I threw it randomly, I had no crosshairs because of the hardcore server settings and surprisingly, it got him. I'll be sure to take out more than 1 grenade next time.

Have you guys ever got any grenade kills? Tell us a stoorrryy ;D.

I haven't gotten a grenade kill, but I have two fail nades. I attempted to throw one in the Cherno church as there were people camping in there and it hit the roof. My second grenade I attempted to kill a sniper who I thought was above me on the roof of Blue Horshoe and that grenade hit the side of the ladder, bounced back to me, and almost killed me.

I've got one grenade kill and it was in Cherno. Had a body spot someone on top of the hospital and I was in the corner building I walked out into the street by the school and lobbed a grenade up to the top of the hospital and bam he died haha.

I've gotten a couple of grenade kills, and on one occasion I killed myself and my attacker with a suicide grenade. I love bein' the explosives guy.

I've had a few but my best one was stalking down a medic, then catching him helping someone out. I simply threw a grenade, and killed him.

i use them to clear out packs of zombies when they spawn at chopper crashes. makes it much quicker to loot the crash site.

I usually carry one with me, but haven't had the opportunity to use one yet. Everyone I encounter is either too close, or too far.

I did have a death from a grenade though. I was in a good mood, and I ran into this guy on the coast, and we decided to play together for a bit. I had no gear, he didn't have much either. I think I had just respawned recently. So we hit up Cherno for some stuff, and we find a pile of dead bodies in the fire station. One of them has an M14 AIM, which I had been trying to find since day 1. I was happy. I believe he found a frag there, or he had it already. After that we headed West to hit Balota and the deer stands between there and Kamenka. We got lucky again, found some more decent weapons, and we were just about fully geared up. We decided to push out luck and hit Stary, so we started running. We aggro's two zombies from the deer stand we had just looted, and they chased us up the hill.

My new friend had a great idea, he would throw one of the smoke grenades he had picked up in Balota to distract them so we didn't have to waste ammo. Good idea. Pretty much as he was throwing it, I hear "Oh shit, run, I threw the frag", and we bolted... and we didn't make it.

Those damn things are dangerous.
