Question about the standalone..please don't shoot.

I'm sure it's been asked 100 times, but I can't find an estimated release date for the SA.

Any ideas?

I think it was said that standalone would be released before the end of 2012. In my opinion, Rocket should just release it now as buggy filled as it might be as long as the core material is in place.

I believe, as 'feeldope' above me said, that it will be in the next couple of months. I think Rocket said October or November are realistic, but don't hold me to it. What im pretty sure though, is that this will be the first version of the standalone. I believe it's following the minecraft model, where it will be updated throughout it's development (with the current DayZ mod as the testing platform before hitting standalone). Obviously with each major update, the price will go up also, just like Minecraft did. So the sooner you get it really, the cheaper it will be.
