About us:

CPD - Chernarus Police Department is a completely new concept.

We are a small society (aiming to get bigger), who wants to try to keep the 'streets' of Chenarus clean for civilised individuals who wish to play the game to survive

CPD's main goal is to take care of the Bandits and help anyone in need. Maybe someone who needs an escort.

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently working on a temporary website.

How we operate:

Our main priotity and goal for CPD is to successfully develop a forum which is for the public to use as a security option. We are willing to take care of Bandits and to help out anyone in need of assistance. This means, escorting 'Medics' to a survivor - Helping out survivors - Watching over the big cities for survivors to go in and scavenge etc. So basicly, we want to make sure that you, as a suvivor, is safe to walk the streets of Chernarus!

This means that you "call 911" and let us know your specific location and other optional detailed information which we can accuire to provide the best quality assistance we can. We will then scout the area for you, making sure that you can walk into a hospital or a major city for loot without getting killed.

Whenever we get more people whitelisted (people will need to get whitelisted, just as well as being a Medic. You need to prove your worth), we will create small escort groups that will follow alongside the player in need, making them feel even more secure.

How do I get Whitelisted?

To be a Whitelisted 'Officer', you will need:

1. To help a player in need of, escort, protection or anything alike.

2. Ask them politely to go to this thread and post about their experience with you.

3. One post about your heroic actions may not be enough. Remember, not everyone is alike!

We will go through the posts every now and then and make sure to whitelist everyone who deserves it!

How do I get help?

It's really easy actually. All you need to do is:

1. Post your situation - Make sure to explain if you need an escort, if you have spotted a Bandit (prove this as we do NOT kill innocent players), etc. For better help, make sure to give a precise explanation.

2. Make sure to add the needed information to get in contact with you - This makes it much easier for an 'Officer' to find and help you. If you have encountered a Bandit, please include: The server name, The time of your encounter with the bandit and when you died. you could also include what this specific bandit was equipped with e.g. Does he have a ghillie suit, what weapons and it would be a great help to our department if you could inform us their in-game names.

3. Wait for an 'Officer' to make contact with you.

4. After an 'Officer' has helped, make sure to edit your post saying who the 'Officer' was and how you experience was.

[For 'Officers'] What do I do?

1. If you take on a 'mission', make sure to quote and this way let everyone in this thread know!

2. Make contact with the survivor, either through PM or however they want to. Make sure to be polite and have patience, not everyone are Elite players.

3. After helping a survivor, politely ask them to post about their experience with you and your assitance which you have provided in this thread.

4. (Optional) Taking a picture of you and the survivor as proof would be great! (Steam users "F12") (Non Steam users "Print Screen")

5. Make sure to post about the 'mission' yourself.

I have encountered a HOSTILE Survivor or 'Officer' - What should I do?

PM me or Virus and explain the entire situation in detail and we will start an investigation.

If I see you laying in the grass overlooking Elektro or Cherno I will shoot you as I would think you are bandit scum sniping survivors in the town. I would still shoot you on sight anywhere if I see you all geared up with AS50's, M4 CCO SD's and Ghilies.

There should be a concept made, that allows more skins. Imagine getting a police skin once you pass 20K+ humanity for instance. That would be cool wouldn't it? But with the current concept its hard to try to make a police force as no one knows who is who in this game.

I am counter-sniping bandits from the opposite hill in Elektro. I take down 2 snipers on the "Sniper Hill" there. Just to see a guy emptying his makarov in my ass, saying "I got you bandit scum, you're lame sniping survivors in the town" on the VoiP. He didn't know I actually saved his stupid ass.

I also see some other Police experiments wannabe clans and saw some youtube footage lately. Those guys didn't even ask anyone if they are friendly or not, they were just telling to eachother if you see someone with an assault rifle or sniper shoot first ask questions later. Or were talking a bout killing unarmed survivors the second they get hands on a gun.

A new 'police' like skin would be great, but no new skins until the standalone comes out as far as I understand.

Also I need to make very clear that this is NOT a clan. This is a 'society' of people who want to protect others.

The thing is, we will not kill people unless proven to be Bandits. Personally I keep my distance and watch over people. IF I see someone getting shot or someone shooting at nother person I will kill them.

Unless I see or have any particular prove of one being a Bandit, I will not kill. Again, this is my personal playstyle.

We won't be laying around in the grass 24/7 unless called upon by a survivor in need.

As mentioned in another post this is NOT a clan. This is a 'society' of people who feel happy about helping other survivors.

And personally I am quite well equipped. It is kind of required for these tasks, but yes. Me and some of my friends are very well equipped :)
