Proudful 1 Posted September 16, 2012 Hi, does anyone know how much the ATV can take in collisions? Like if I hit a fence or rock at full speed, will I explode?I really don't want to test it firsthand. >_>
crobinho 16 Posted September 16, 2012 Lol, i have a friend whoes driving skills often lead to explosions. You should be safe though if your engine is in the green, at least from an explosion that is! Any vehicle will explode if it has red engine and you hit something really hard!
Angel Knight 427 Posted September 16, 2012 It is fairly durable against standard collisions, but it also has a nasty tendency to flip over for no reason or get blasted into the air unexpectedly and then land on top of your head. Try to find a dirt bike instead.

But when I drive at night, I sometimes barely miss those fences that are randomly in the field. I was wondering if I hit one of them... would my ATV explode? :<
enforcer1975 1111 Posted September 16, 2012 I hit one accidentally at about 30 km/h. Nothing happened, my guess is that they are actually sturdy little car models.
crobinho 16 Posted September 16, 2012 well, we do hit stuff, like zombies, fences, even those strange wall left-overs in the fields. But we never exploded with an all green one! So just try to avoid obstacles while in full speed and you will be fine, i guess.
slyder73 94 Posted September 16, 2012 They are pretty sturdy to stand up to the usual drivers not knowing the weird physics of the ATV. They turn very fast when going slow and seem to be drawn to the nearest tree or building whenever near one. If you are at any speed and hit a rock you will likely flip it about 10 feet in the air and land with it wrecked and you possibly dead. ATV's are great on roads and open fields (avoid rocks and bushes). They are hard to drive yet fairly sturdy in forested or town areas when having to go fairly slow.
