gear not transferring to another server ? help

my gear from one server isnt transferring to another server is this a bug

Are you playing on a private server?

IF so, there's your problem.

Host

might have [Private Hive] in name.

Type

Official servers will usually say: "DayZ"

Others might say: "Saintly DayZ" "DayZ Sanctuary" "DayZ Chernorus/Utes/Takistan"

naa doesnt say that what if i kill my self on the server and hope for the stuff to transfer over

I noticed today (this is with lingor only) if there is a time of day displayed in dayz commander then its a private server. Blank obviously means its connected to the hive.

An official server has @expansion @hive in the description bit.

Private have something like @stats or @Bliss to name a few this i think i am right in saying is where you char saves.

So no killing yourself will not restore your kit you'll just be dead
