Helicopter advice wanted :)

Ok so we were flying our chopper around as normal. Then the server goes down unexpectedly. Chopper isnt where we saved it or where it spawned when we fixed it up. Also lost a motorbike we had just fixed. That isnt in its spawn either. Any idea's guys ? Thanks.

I don't know that much about vehicles, but it Helicopters in particular might auto-save so when the server went up the Helicopter was still in the air and crashed.

It seems that the helicopter spwan is buggy. Ours crashed about 1 week ago and doesnt respawned yet.

I've been looking for the heli on my server for over a month :( Seems buggy as hell.

I have a friend who's sole obsession in this is finding choppers to fix, fly (then crash). He is of the opinion some servers simply dont spawn them and others are buggy as to what happens when the chopper is destroyed or vanished on a restart. I take his word for it he has a long list of servers he always finds chopper on.

it was saved in a previous point..i think they save only when landed..so you could watch in the places you landed before, and if you just flew around for a long time it could be just disappeared in bug

Did you try restarting the server again? Sometimes it's necessary because the vehicles don't spawn.

I found 1 it was in great shape... in the Sea. :(
