Pilot in need of Work

I've always specialized as a Pilot In any game, I have countless hours of Arma II and Microsoft Flight Simulator experience, But not SPECIFICALLY DayZ Piloting Experience.

Own a joystick. I'm a great Pilot, just need a Team to Salvage heli's with and learn the ropes on what NOT to do while flying in DayZ.

What not to do while flying in DayZ:

• Fly during the day.
  
• Fly while anyone not in your squad is on the server.
  
• Fly with a cracked windshield.
  
• Attempt to land without autohover.
  
• Attempt to land with autohover.
  
• Attempt to land at the NWAF.
  
• Attempt to land on a firestation roof.
  
• Attempt to find a main rotor assembly after you find the helicopter (they all mysteriously vanish).

It's better now that the graphics glitches have been fixed, but... yeah. Tap the ground just a little too hard, everyone falls out unconscious and bleeding and the helicopter vanishes into thin air.

What not to do - land anywhere with a slope, even if it's ridiculously minor. Your helicopter will slide for 20 minutes until it finds the nearest tree to mate with.

yeah you need to autohover when you're bringing the heli down, but turn it off before you hit the ground. if you don't, the rotor will probably grab the terrain and flip the heli. and as zero said, you then need to put it down incredibly gently.

Rule #1.

Do not fly with any pilot that says the following: "I'm great at flying."

He'll usually show off his elite top gun skills, getting all of you killed.

My advice, the psychological stress of finding/repairing a chopper only to watch it crash or get stolen is too high, so just try to find another vehicle.
