Bad version, server rejected connection.

I keep on getting the same error message when I try to get onto DayZ using DayZcommander.

I have ticked the [x] Launch using Steam and [x] Replace original Arma20A files etc. in DayZCommander.

My version is 1.62.95417.

Might seem like a noob question but how do I update the version?

Help! I need to get down to some zombie slaying!

There should be an option to update the Arma version in DayZ Commander. Above the DayZ updater one, I believe.

Sorry, one more question. Another noob one. If the game is running laggy (will move forward 0.5 seconds after I press the button) is that becasue my computer is too slow or that the internet connection is too slow? If the former would installing more memory make it better?

It can depend on all at times.

What do you have your settings at? High? Very High? Try setting them all to very low/low and see how it turns out.

Also, it may depend upon the server. If the server hasn't restarted in a while, then that's part of your problem. Go and play on some other servers for a bit. If they run smoothly as apposed to the other server, then you know it was a server side problem.

I'm not particularly good with estimating these things, but it should do. DayZ isn't actually that demanding when it comes to internet speed.
