NON-PVP server ?

Is there a server where there's no pvp ?

Or a private server where group of people work together to complete their goals ?

I mean I'm just stick of Bandits... I have enough trouble finding ammo and food to kill all of the zombies I don't need a person trying to kill me for my slugs.. :@

So yea.. If there's a PVP or a Private Server I would love to join..

Instead of crying about PvP, why dont you try to get better at the game? You are what is wrong with Arma today. Instead of trying to get better or use different tactics, you want to change the game to suit your nub style

Well, you could try running straight to some cover and then asking people if there are any cooperative groups that want another member. But I would wager you'll soon get bored of just pounding on stupid zombies and will want some play involving fighting other players. Will you fight the bandits or join them? Neither in a no PvP server, my man.

Oh, and by the by, when you ask to join a group remember to use voice over net on the side channel. Something like "ATTENTION ATTENTION. Friendly player seeks large group looking for fun times with zombies on a weekend basis! ATTENTION ATTENTION (repeat)"

PvP is part of the game. I'm sorry you are having a hard time surviving. Like it was said before, try to link up with like-minded players. Finding a clan with a TS or Vent is pretty much mandatory. Do you play in CST? Legion is always looking for fresh meat.

NO, someone could join the damn NO PVP server, go to northwest get NVG and a suppressed m4, then go back to coast. Disconnect and rejoin a pvp

If the two types of servers were separated so PVE and PVP servers could not be switched between, e.g. cant farm up gear and then go on a killing spree on a normal server would your answer still be no?

after all it would have little impact on your preferred game play style, and would potentially develop a whole new player market type. those that enjoy co-op but not pvp.

Personally I dont mind the pvp it adds a whole new aspect to the game, but I can also see the appeal in a co-op server type for people who just want to blast zeds, and build fortified areas in peace.

Main reason is that more than likely Rocket wouldn't bother changing the game to be COOP, IIRC he has stated that somewhere, but don't take my word for it.

I don't think ANYONE would object to that. I just think it would die a death quite quickly. Probably rocket thinks so to so I doubt he'll bother.

He is right you know. People are allowed to play different styles than you. It seems to me that a lot of guys don't really put much thought into it at all.

I for one don't mind pvp, but I would also be willing to give a server with no pvp a try as well. PvP and PvE are just two different play styles, that is all.

I think it simply amounts to Rocket doesnt want separate environments, he wants to create a brutal experience. I love this part: "P.S. you guys are pussies." There's two sides for sure.

On one hand, there are other games out there to satisfy the zombie survival need (and if there's a nuance that they don't.. well, perhaps a few Kickstarter projects might be worth looking at).

ARMA II is a small community compared to the likes of World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Left 4 Dead, and others, but that doesn't change the fact that changing the basic ideology behind the survival portion of the game and mechanics (by separating PvP and PvE) is the proper direction to go. You hear of "veteran" World of Warcraft players complaining about how casual the game has gotten. Well, to be fair, there's go tto be something that sates the niche for those types of players.

Thanks for the all info and especially thanks to the people who actually bothered to answer nice and to think about what I asked...

I can see that most of the people that answered are under 15 , by the way the respond to my question. If I wanted "I can count to potato" answers I would probably go on Youtube and ask it.

I just wanted to know if there , even is such a thing I didn't request the MODS to actually create it.
