Honestly, I have a series of DayZ video that are pretty popular and what makes the videos that much better to watch is the fact that they are max 10 mins long. No one wants to spend 25 minutes of their lives watching you run around looking for beans. You need to use some editing magic and get to the good parts to keep people engaged.

Just my 2 cents.

I recommend downloading Sony Vegas, You can slipt the videos and render 10min and then render the other part creating 2 videos. Instead of a 20+min video.

You can also cut down small parts of the video of you running around (boring parts)

Also about the shooting the reason for that is because you are suppose to drop your weapon and pick it up again then you will be able to shoot.
