rillepille 7 Posted June 13, 2012 Hello all.I read posts here and I am glad to see that some of you have gotten your problems fixed. But the problem seems to be that many of you get your problems fixed and you then post back saying:"Ok... I fixed it (on my own), thanksThe problem got taken care ofor... something else to that nature."How are other people going to learn from your fixes if you don't post back here what you did to fix your problem? People are always wanting answers, and with posts/replies like above will only make people wonder what you did to fix it.Please explain EXACTLY as much as possible what you did. It could be a new and informative way to do something that has never been discussed before. Don't just get your own stuff fixed and leave everyone else out in the open. Explain how you fixed it, because people want to know... "Well, how did he do it?"Don't hold back on information that can help others,,, because the information here has helped you. We've all come here for help, and we aught to provide it in return, even in the form of explaining how you got a problem fixed.
liquidje 38 Posted June 13, 2012 You can always ask in the threads or send a PM. Also, sometimes people ask to post solutions.Point is, your thread will be disappearing in a few hours because of all the new posts in other threads, so better take matter into your own hands! frederik_e_r@hotmail.com 0 Posted June 13, 2012 @LiquidjeHe does have a point. As you know, if you post in a thread that is old, it will be moved back up top. Thus no need for new threads if the answers are here.I can tribute to this thread by saying I fixed my Hatchet problem, which was missing in my game.My equip file was corrupted, so I deleted it and downloaded from another mirror, and bam, fixed. I could see it in the game world again and use it and everything.Another glitch I know of is the no animations of walkers and other zombies, and thats the same procedure. Re-download the animation file.
Wüstenfuchs (DayZ) 105 Posted June 13, 2012 Good point Rillepille. There might always be others who have the exact same problem, and it would be very helpful for them if the last post in the thread would contain the solution/fix.
