BelMarduk 169 Posted September 14, 2012 There are a few things that arn't necessarily explained in that given post... I have noticed I can just-about run up on and over a zombie on a recruit server and not agro him. On a regular server you can run away from a zed and dive under a pine tree and it will loose agro on you, try that on a veteran or expert server and you're just a stationary meal for the still agro'd zed. IN other words, agro-ability of zeds changes form server to server. The PV (or the little dots that show entities around you) vary from lvl of server. on recruit you'll see the dots through mountians in front of you while running, where on a expert server, you must stop, zoom your view and scan for a sec to just get a faint dot... Max Planck 7174 Posted September 14, 2012 The zed aggro should be the same on all servers, but it has some randomness build in so you'll get varying results. Some times a zed will see you from 50 meters away, some times it won't see you at 15, there is a certain amount of chance involved. rybo 171 Posted September 14, 2012 Keep in mind server admins do choose the server difficulty but, that does not mean its 100% that difficulty. We have a list of options that we can change no matter the difficulty. Things like bubbles around Zeds, Tags, Range, 3rd person, etc. But some things are constant to the difficulty.
