Debug menu?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm from Ukraine. My character has survived the 7th day and I have almost everything you need for a happy life gangster: DMR, M4A3 CCO, PDW SD. Night vision devices as well. But ... I have lost the menu next to the indicators of noise and visibility, and besides that I do not see the exact count of the blood, I can not make notches on the butt after the punishment of another victim. It is a bit disappointing

Hello, it is a debug menu.. never meant to stay. only temporary. yet if you want you can switch it back on i the options... but it has a price.

Debug menu was removed exactly for it's purpose: Debug.

You don't need it. Most of the time you die in 1-3 shots anyway with full blood. Exact numbers don't matter.

And it should reduce the bandit activity at least a little bit, because, like you said, you can't easily keep count on how many people you've killed.

Enjoy.

What do you mean, "price"? Do not tell me that it will return the graphic issues? : D

Perhaps not quite in the topic, but I would add that my survival kit never visited Ghillie suit D:

The "price" is that your sight and hearing indicators do not work when you have the debug menu enabled.

Perhaps you're right and debug menu is not so significant

The "price" is that your sight and hearing indicators do not work when you have the debug menu enabled.

I think these indicators are really only useful for beginners, as any more or less experienced player and he can estimate your level of visibility on the basis of the position of the character and the type of soil on which he walks. Well, on the visibility for the players is not affected, everything is simple - if you're in a static = you easier to spot

Oh, I almost forgot. thanks

The "price" is that your sight and hearing indicators do not work when you have the debug menu enabled.

and you cant tell if you need food or drink.

I think the exact amount of blood is an Important thing to know.

If you´re below 9k blood the chance that a zombie knocks you out is significaly higher. And everybody knows how fast you can die because of that, a Single zombie break your legs in full sprint or simply knocks you out and then eats you.

And if you´re below 4k blood you can randomly fall over.

So Imho, the blood symbol isnt simply enough.

It is more realistic without the debug monitor. Therefore getting rid of the debug monitor is an improvement. Sure it is difficult to figure out how much blood you have left, but there are other ways to determine the amount of blood you have left than just watching at a number in the right top of your screen. The debug monitor is giving you information, which you wouldn't have in real life. With the game wanting to be as realistic as possible, getting rid of the dbeug monitor is the next logical step in order to become more realistic.

I think the game is better without the debug monitor because it shows how awesome this survival game really is. And for whoever said its difficult to keep track of your kills, it really isn't, the only time its hard is if you're playing with more then one bandit friend and you both shoot at an opponent at the same time and he or she drops and neither of you know who got the kill. But other then that not having the debug monitor is great imo.
