Problem with lingor island

okay 1st off im not even sure if im posting in the correct location, but i cant find any support on this. I have my own server, i am attempting to run lingor island, the problem is i cannot update it to 1.7.2.6 any help to resolve this issue?

We are experiencing some problems getting 1.7.2.6 to work with Lingor at the moment. I am very sorry for this inconvenience. At this point, I can offer you one of three options:

1. We don't want you to feel like your money is being held hostage, so if you would like we would have no problem refunding your payment 100%

2. We can refund you $10 for your setup fee and give you access to the server without the Lingor setup

3. We can setup Lingor 1.7.2.5 for you and give you a $5 refund for the inconvenience

Once again I am extremely sorry we have not been able to get your server up with 1.7.2.6. If you could tell us how you would like to proceed we can process your request Mike."

i was just trying to see if there was a way to fix it myself before i proceeded with purchasing the server though them.

went there didnt see any threads related to this, if there is one you know of, i would appreciate a direct link to it, after a day or so of looking for a useful thread i dont really feel like searching, thus why i posted a thread myself

FYI lingor is a sepereate mod for arma, it doesnt need dayz to run :)

so you have to go to the russian official dayz lingor forums and ask around, as of right now dayz lingor does NOT support 1.7.2.6 yet.

Its only 1.7.2.5 and you can try what ever you want, its not gonna happen :) wait for the russian to do an official release for DayZ Lingor, as Dayz doesnt have anything to do with it, neithet does Icebreaker, the creator of Lingor for Arma.

Remember some russians took DayZ and Lingor and merged em to Dayz Lingor mod. its a seperate mod and it does not require Dayz or Lingor mod to run at all :) so its as un-official as it could possibly be.

So i suggest you wait for the official dayz lingor update, or try to manually do it and get a even more buggy game out of it. Again this is 2 mods, wich have been combined, as was never made for it, so its buggy as hell.

Ive been running a lingor server for almost 2 months, and its just to buggy atm for a persistant experience tbh. we need alot of bugfixes from the russians. So im back to Cherno now, as it has gotten alot of bugfixes lately, at least the "Private Hive" version of the server :)

okay thank you for clerifying that, i just thought that as well as the beta patch and lingor version that the dayz version needed to up to date as well, so in your opinion, should i not run my own lingor server? and instead run a chenarus server? because the 2 main reasons im running my own server is because the servers i usually play on the admins dont properly reset the server, so cars are never to be found, loot that only spawns on reset is never to be found, and constantly getting kicked, that and i want a server where i know hacks arent happening, and server admins arent abusing their power, i mean the only downside to lingor is the private hive thing, i would love to be connected to the hive but chernarus is getting boring, i may open one in the future but im enjoying lingor more so i can ignore the no hive thing at the moment, im just not sure if it will out weigh the bugs, ill see how it goes the 1st month after that i may opt to switch to chenarus
