plz clear up versions confusion for me

Recommended Posts

so my playwithSIX updated my dayz to 1.7.2.6

this is the most recent version right? why do i still see a lot of servers running 1.7.2.4 or 1.7.2.5?

also, what is the second number? i usually see 96584 but there are other more "recent" (at least higher number) versions out there too. which one should i be looking for?

People can choose what version they want to run.

Second number is what version your beta is.

well the second number cant be MY beta, because different servers have different numbers. based on EpeeNoire's post im assuming the second number is the Arma version, whereas the 1.7.2.6 is the Dayz version. correct?

Try DayZcommander, it tells you if your on the latest patch, keeping track of dayZ, lingor, and takistan, and your arma2 beta.
