Ganso 1 Posted June 13, 2012 I place a tent.. put in many items.. then scroll wheel and save.But when I come back later. The tent is still there but all the items are gone. I'm 99% sure they weren't stolen too.. I filled it with junk to test it.. Stuff thats not worth stealing.Tried 3 times on 3 servers and the same thing has happened. But if you're sure it isn't you should try to stand nearby your tent for like 5-10 mins and see if items still disappear, that way you can rule out thieves.personally I've never had my stuff in tents disappear, allthough I've had my tent disappear several times. :p Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Heme (DayZ) 0 Posted June 13, 2012 Yeah, my latest tents have been magically emptied as well. Placed new ones near old ones and routinely filled and saved them with random stuff. Came back the next day and the new ones were empty and old ones untouched so I can pretty safely exclude thieves. Happened to my 8 newest tents on different servers. Ganso 1 Posted June 13, 2012 Oh they dont disappear if the server doesn't restart or I don't log off.I played for hours and the items where still there.. but later when I went to log back on. The server was just restarting. Tent still there, items gone. I dont know for certain if the other 2 servers restarted.. I was offline for maybe 8-6 hours so its possible ofc.As for theft.. Macenzie 79 Posted June 13, 2012 I've not noticed an issue with my tents (apart from the increased difficulty of finding a valid spot for them).I have recently placed a tent on a current beta patch server, placed a DMR and several bloodbags inside it. It was all there several days later (the server has been restarting regularily while the admin figures out a good configuration).So I don't think this is a universal tent issue, maybe an issue with saving the tent on the servers you have tried?
