I thought the people of the dayz forums would like to see it as there is not many Takistan videos out yet as the map hasnt been out for even a week. i think it has been out for 2 days. Audio Rejectz 144 Posted September 12, 2012 It should not of been released in it's current state.Zombies walk through buildings, under them, float in arch ways and get stuck on steps to a whole new level compared to ChernoRubble and vegetation floats about a foot above the grounds, as well as loot in some buildingsYour running through the desert yet you can hear the sea and birds from cherno, sounds like your in a jungle / island environmentZombie skins don't make sense, running into Lumber Jack zombies in the desert? erm okIt looks like who has made this hasn't really much of a clue in what they are doing at all, i understand it is in early development. But compare this to lingor's first patch and this gets made to look very poor indeed. slartibartfast (DayZ) 77 Posted September 12, 2012 Had a wee play last night.The infected lose aggro very quickly.Just about every building has multiple entry/exit points and loot spawns.Oh, and my first confirmed Skiddie. With esp and vehicle spawns. It was funny when he rode up to me on his motorcycle, when I was on the down slope of a hill. He hut me three times as I stood doing nothing then dismounted, equipped his as50 and shot me.Oh well.I guess its back to the grind. Chalk up one more challenging, skillful, noob death to a script kid.I did think it was gdrs grimreaper(modern, quirky spelling with numbers instead of letters) as he was the only person logged on that wasn't dieing every few minutes, until he crashed his helicopter. mibz0r 141 Posted September 13, 2012 I like the feel of the map but it does have issues, zombies seem to aggro very randomly and from silly distances, and the Harvest Wood mechanism needs fixing as even in the thickest of trees you cannot get wood to make a fire. there may be many more but I haven't seen them or the issues that Audio Rejects is having. I appreciate that in some way, I guess ...Frankly, I don't expect any community map to be as stable as Chernarus at this point of development, but I'll give it a try. Watch out for that server if you wanna have your gears and not just beeing unarmed and fly around.Was insta killed, when looting on that server after those 3h of scavaging.No broken bones, no gun fire, no explosion.
