How to get through broken glass in elektro?

Recommended Posts

I found my first hospital in elektro yesterday and I remembered reading that I need to break the glass to get in.

Unfortunately after hacking away at the windows and smashing them to pieces, I seemed unable to climb through into the building. The doors didn't seem wide enough and the windows had chairs blocking me from the other side.

So two questions please-

1. Is there only one building in elektro with breakable glass? Maybe im at the wrong building?

2. If I'm at the right building, WTF am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

It doesn't sound like you are at the right building, the hospital has a big row of 12 windows all the way along the front. They all have a medical type symbol on each window. You can climb in any of those windows or the door without blockages.

Ah ok thanks, sounds like the wrong place then lol

Where abouts is the hospital then? I've spent a fair amount of time in elektro but have never seen a building like you described.

Thanks, does that map work on the steam overlay?

I have it book marked on my phone but it's a pain to use when it's so small, so I dont really used it much... Except when I get lost in the woods lol.

I guess I could just alt+tab when I want to look at it on a browser but that seems like a slow way to do it.

I will test for myself after work if you don't know :)

Doh I just looked a the map and I never even realised there was an eastern Elektro >_<

I must have always sprinted off to the north before I got that far, after looting the hangar and thinking that it was the only real building of interest... I'm properly going to explore this town tonight I think :)

Thanks for the help!

Totally jealous of your DayZ noobness. I want all my hundreds of hours back so I can start afresh and clueless.

Don't use DayZdb though, will totally ruin the fun of random deerstand encounters, vehicle spawns and the likes. I remember the first time me and a friend made it to Stary Sobor and were like, "Holy Military tents! Look what we've found... and noooobody else knows about them"

They were the DayZ
