so its getting closer to standalone dayz.. many of us have stuck out threw the hackers and the crying cod kiddies.

do you think rocket will give us something as a thanks for supporting dayz threw alpha?

would be nice after the shit storm of crying people it keeps on getting.

what would be your ideas on treats?

a special badge maybe or the ability to do something extra with your dog? or an added survival perk.

would be a nice idea.

Perhaps my sarcasm was a little too harsh, but come now. You are suggesting a reward for playing a game, for free, before it is released to the public. That in itself is already a reward.

I'm sure he did and is doing, we should feel honoured that we have the opportunity to help mould this amazing game into something that's never been done before! There's the treat. :)

Actually its publicly released or did you have to be given access to it in order to play ? I don't think so , and from a

production standpoint you are not playing the game , you are testing it . That in itself (as in the name implied) is a task u fulfill

for the company or in this case Rocket and his Modteam .

Tho i have to admit asking for a real reward for testing is kinda childish since you join and play/test on your own will and for free .

Still giving people that stuck through the whole process somekind of "reward" (even if its just a badge like proposed or a forum badge or something)

is a good idea in my opinion and seeing many companies actually do that to Alpha Testers (WoT and loads of other examples)

just shows that people alpha-testing a game are actually appreciated by the companies . And for a reason

cause we all now how it is loosing all our gear to hackers , glitches or what not and for those people pushing through the hard times

at the start there should be an incentive at the end .

Maybe next time turn sarcasm off and your brain on before bash-posting an idea that may not be perfectly articulated but in it's base

I would be happy if he included a small video file with every game shipped. It should show Rocket sprinting down a beach with a Coyote full of beans , 1 fuel drum , morphine , water bottle , tent and bloodpacks. 4 dmr mags and 4 stangs on him plus a full stash of .45 ammo A dmr and m16 acog hanging off his shoulders, revolver in his holster and axe in hand. Toolbox, flashlight,binocs,gps,nvgs,matches, knife and entrenching tool all hanging off his toolbelt. Directly behind him will be a Zed train from Kamyshovo.

After axing 15 zeds on the beach , bandaging and using morphine he will refuel and take an 11 mph boat ride to Skalisty. Pitch a tent on a slope in a grove of fir trees, start a fire, swill some Dew and eat a can of beans..then look at the camera and say..' Hi...i'm Rocket..and this is Dayz ! '

I'm not sure it matters much to me Ive really enjoyed Dayz. If something comes along I'll take it. How about stand alone alpha participation!
