Primary gear disapeared?

Hey guys, wondered if you could help me out here - was riding on a bike when i lost connection, i rejoined the lobby and to my surprise all my primary inventory gear was gone (not my guns, just ammo/food/bloodbag/bandages) and my backpack was still intact.. what kind of bug is this and has anyone else had it? :/

yeah weird stuff like this does happen - i've lost several primary weapons from disconnects or from just logging off and logging back in later. best way to avoid this is to find a couple servers you find to be fairly reliable and stick to those.

Lol, i lost connection while riding down to Novy at top speed, respawned prone in the same place laying on the road with the fucking long timer. Bikeless and broken legs..sweet.

funny i was riding one at top speed when server shut down and I came back in to standing in the place I was at when it happened with no bike and just fine.

The only time I have ever lost my gear is when sometimes changing into certain outfits, but I have never encountered the OP's bug. Maybe in the bugs section others have found this common. Have you tried the search function?

mhmmmm i got this bug multiple times when losing connection whilst on a bike.

Once got hit by a zombie afterward & no bandages & died..... i was MAAD.

sweet then on to the bug reporting section of these forums! OMG people made a breakthrough in DayZ group today!! There are actually playing an ALPHA MOD discovering and reporting bugs. Who fucking knew it was possible??!!

So im glad to see im not the only person, to those saying put down a tent, what i lost was ammo and stuff that i would usually carry on my person ;)

I logged back in standing about 15 feet away from the bike though, so.. was all gravy ;)
