HELP

Hi everyone

Im trying to join a dayz server

When i click a server, it goes to launch and then kicks me back to the server browser screen.

Says at the bottom that i cant play because of deleted data or something

Ive checked that im up to date with the beta patch etc but it still kicks me back

Any ideas chaps?

Can you tell what sort of downlodable data he is missing? What .pbo files?

What versions are you running of ARMA? Arma2 free?

all the dayz files mate

and im running the steam version of arma 2 and OA

Ok. start to run Steam as administrator.....

Verify the game cache in Steam...what does it say?

You installed the mod or the shortcut incorrectly. Make sure you add "-mod=@dayz" without quotes in the launch options and DayZ mod files are installed in the proper folder. By default: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons"

I used that commander dayz program mate

the files are in the correct place

Ill try six updater to see if it works

yes...please do that...feedback is nice...and someone else can learn something too....

Six updater is replaced by Play withSix.....FYI

SIX Launcher is in the process of being replaced by the evolved and much improved Play withSIX. Recommended:

ok its doing the same thing

ive noticed there is no @dayz in the top righthand corner of the oa screen

just the beta

hmmm...

Look in ARMA what ARMA has loaded or not...dont trust other application for now...

Look in ARMA, window before multiplayer.....down right corner....what does it say?

In case this is helpful: I have gotten this error before and then joining a different server worked.

Ok i just allowed all the expansions and its working now :)
