Tough day on Lingor Island

I typted this all on my phone so sorry for spelling errors :)

I'm a really nice guy when it comes to dayz. Recientily I found an atv stashed with weapons and gear. I take what I need and then drive off. Soon I find a freshspawn who tries to shoot at me with his revolver. I quickly drive away and bandadge myself up. He then says he was scared and I drive my atv back up to him. We meet up and he gives me a blood transfusion. I then decide to give him my atv so he can quickly meet his friend. I'm feeling pritty good so I head over to the airstrip (the really big airstrip). I decide to do some fresh spawn protection. As I'm heading over to my usual spot I notace a guy with a as50 overlooking the baracks. Obviousely this guy isn't here to shoot some zombies. Without heasitation I shoot him, but he alt f4 on me. I then relocate. I'm in my new spot and notice a freshspawn running along the airfield. I see that he is unarmed so I decide to help him out. As I'm halfway across the airfield someone with a M16M203 comes outta nowwhere. I turn around and run back into the forest, he starts shooting at me but didn't hit me. (Because the sights on that gun suck). I then see if I can shoot this guy with my M16 ACOG, but I couldn't find him. Soon after I hear more gunshots over where the unarmed freshspawn was. I think the freshspawn died. As I move in to investigate. I get shot twice by a DMR.

I respawne in some city (can't remember name). I then atempt to make my way over to my body, but a few minuts later I get shot. I respawne. I see someone running around in a city and I go to ask him directions. He ends up shooting me too. I respawne, then get mowed down with some sorta LMG. Respawne, then get shot in the leg. Then eaton by zombies. When I do spawn and live longer than 2 minuts I almost am at my body... Then the server restarts. Great. Time to start from scratch.

So basicly, I don't know what to say. If everyone is shooting everyone, then why bother helping other people. I don't think I'm going to wast time and help freshspawns, cause in the end when they get a gun they will probably just shoot me ;_;

Its hard living in a world where you can trust no one, but that's what this game is. Maybe it speaks to how real life works, but until the plague we'll never know :P

Personally, unless I'm skyping with you, you're dead. Plain and simple. I'm not risking my day-10 character with every tool to try and make friends, only to be shot in the back. It's not banditry or paranoia, it's self-preservation.

Yeah, Lingor is kinda like that with the ridiculous amount of military spawns, people that generally find it hard to find military grade weapons acquire them in a matter of hours, even minutes. The point is, pretty much everyone is running around with some sniper or M4/M16 and feel as if this newfound power gives them a right to kill newspawns. Thats the reason I changed my server back to Chernarus, its more enjoyable and makes you work for your gear.

Yea ive had a similar experience so far on lingor my first spawn i met a random friendly with a boat and helped him collect fuel not long after on the way back though i got one punch knocked out by some zombies and died, i respawned and looted a supermarket and found a lee enfield + a decent bag nothing special i then run to the hills and get opened up on behind me by a guy with an AK-74 he hits me once and i manage to dodge about 3 clips before he finally hits my legs and kills me (he was a terrible shot). im currently on my 3rd life and am yet to find any decent gear but im enjoying it so far.
