I've got a problem whereby I can't see loot around helicopter crashes, even if it's directly in front of my gun barrel. All I can do is run 100m away, look back to where the grass is cleared and then line myself up with a loot pile and run back. Even then I often can't find it. I have my GFX all on high and would prefer not to drop the quality just for this issue. Even when I drop loot on the ground elsewhere on the map it often vanishes. Any ideas?

There should definitely be more antibiotics or other ways to get well, but otherwise I don't mind the high risk around zombies.. that's exactly how it should be. The zombies need to be the biggest risk and not just be ignorable as they have been all along. I've had a couple of interesting games keeping myself alive through hunting whist running across the map trying to find antibiotics. Made it a proper survival game.

I like everything being tougher and that the zombies are now finally a threat. However the one thing that is a pain is the way they now seem to detect you instantly when you go inside. Like if you've been sneaking around undetected and then crawl into a building, they all come running.

Thanks for the replies. No, it's just the same plain old Dell keyboard with no extra buttons or functionality. The keys work fine otherwise. Only this weirdness in free-look.

Hi all, Either because of the latest update, or because I've done something silly, my free-look has gone all funny. Note that this is not due to couple-tapping the alt key... I know about that. Instead, the change is: When I press Alt and them move my mouse to one side, it will no longer move once I've stopped moving it. So.. press Alt.. start free-looking in any single direction, stop the mouse, and then it refuses to free-look any further. The only way to fix it is to let go of Alt again which causes the view to snap back to normal. Then I can do it all over again any number of times. So basically, free-look gets stuck after the initial mouse movement, and it releasing free-look is the only way to bring it back to normal. Did I just describe that three times over? I've reset the controller settings, but it is still the same. Any ideas? Rob

Same thing happened to me yesterday too... hacker spawned in next to me, killed me.. so I stayed on the server hoping to runback and find my gear and I came back all in one piece. That was a relief seeing as I've finally managed to survive a few weeks on the same character.

No, nothing like that. I've been killed plenty of times by hackers spawning in next to me and also killing the whole server etc, but apart from a couple of bicycles, I haven't had any vehicles. I played again just now for about an hour and didn't get kicked, so hopefully it'll stay that way.

Twice in a row now I've been kicked from local servers with a message about "create vehicle restrictions" or something like that. As far as I'm aware I haven't picked up any hacked gear and I've certainly never had any hacks on my computer, nor would I know how to spawn a vehicle. Haven't even been in a vehicle. Is this something I need to do something about, or is it just some random buggy behaviour? Rob

I love it when it rains, especially at dusk.. gets real spooky. I'd like to see more weather effects... fog, snow, high winds etc
