spex 47 Posted September 12, 2012 It's fun if you're looking for a really quick fix. It's also good to get some first hand experience using different weapons and getting kills. From the perspective of running a server it's a nightmare. I ran it on one of my servers for 3 days and it was full the whole time. The performance degrades extremely fast so it needs to be restarted every 45 minutes or so. Hackers were always popping in. It pretty much needed to be babysat 24/7. IMO it also brings out the worst of the DayZ community. Sitting here watching side chat was kinda funny though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Far too small and the few barracks soon run out, no decent spawning items, I had found a Fal and Bizon with no ammo, just dumped in the barrack buildings. Both heli crash sites were empty, and I could not find a Morphine stick when I was punched to broken. Zeds stayed over downed players and trying to get their stuff was hazardousDid not set a good experience, didn't like Utes one bit. Not a map for DayZ imo. A friend plays with It and he's really good with It so I tried it out.
