NoSurvive 8 Posted September 9, 2012 I just installed the new update logged in and I see no debug monitor. Why did they delete it ? It's so useful! Now I don't see how much blood I have, I can look on the drop Icon but it gets red when my blood is under 6000 then I don't need a transfusiom.I don't see how many Zombies or Bandits I killed. Why rocket ? Why?
Derpy_Hooves (DayZ) 4521 Posted September 9, 2012 More realism... honestly it wasn't needed and took up valuable view.... im already liking this change!Press "i" in game and you can see your Zombie kills, as for player/bandit kills, just take a note if you like to keep track.... Blood, well you're tear drop's colour solves that issue and well there wasn't a temp reading anyway so it all works out :)
SmashT 10907 Posted September 9, 2012 (edited) Have you read the patch notes? There are 3 choices in the options menu:None = No debug monitor, No HUD icons.Default = No debug monitor but working HUD icons.Debug = Debug monitor and broken HUD icons that do not update, so always show green even if you are thirsty for example. Needs to be fixed. Edited September 9, 2012 by smasht_AU
