Unbinding function keys (F1-F12)

Recommended Posts

Anyone know if this is possible? I'd much rather be able to set them up for other functions, screenshots, video recording etc but constantly pulling up a menu each time is annoying, have had a look in the settings and can only find mention of a couple of them under vehicle controls.

I know it sounds a tad obvious and I've not had a look but isn't it just a case of disabling various keys in the keybinding menu. If not, I think you might be able to mess around with the keys in control panel.

P.S - This guy's sig is interesting^^^ - His avi says it all really. *Fixed :)

Nah, they are a pre-assigned function so the majority of them can't be changed via the options, was hoping someone could point me to a config file or something that would allow it.

Hmm, I know there's 3rd party software that lets you do it but that'll probably be overcomplicating things.
