Can run Arma 2 but not OA

Recommended Posts

So i downloaded arma 2 and OA, after that i "verified integrity of game cache" for both and got this message. "1 files failed to validate and will be reaquired.".So i am able to open and play arma 2 but when i try and open OA i get this message "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow'." followed by this message, "Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha:O".

Just wondering how to fix this now, since i now have a computer than can hopefully play dayz,i would like to fix it and play.

If any other info is needed, let me know

Did you buy them on steam?

1. Try running steam as admin

2. Try deleting the DayZ folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ

Then verifying the AO game cache in steam and running it, before installing DayZ.

Log out of steam then just right click on the steam shortcut and run as administrator.

To verify game cache, right click on the game in steam > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.
