DayZ suddenly locks up computer??

for some reason now when i get to the loading screen after joining a server, my computer will completely lock up. no other game does this so wondering if anyone else has this same issue or know what may be the reason.

You're referring to the splash screen with "DAYZ" in big letters, right? Chances are your computer isn't capable of running/loading ArmA 2. Please post your system specifications for further analysis.

If you mean when it just says: "Loading." and nothing else.

Some servers will leave you on that for a while before you actually get in game, sometimes you'll get stuck on there as the server is broken.
