My dayz is running off arma 2 free

Ok so i was working on my dayz trying to config it and got it to work but theres a problem i bought arma 2 OA and got arma 2 free my friend did to but his runs off of OA my runs off of arma 2 free is there anyways to fix this? i really cant run it off of arma 2 free because it laggs and has game issues within it. Some one please help

Me and my friend are running with arma 2 free with no problem. It doesn't lag at all.

solution: Buy the game

Buy: arma 2

Buy: arma 2 oa.

Nuff said.

This will correct your problem.

He got arma oa somehow( he shouldntve because oa is a dlc on steam )

and he got arma 2 demo .
