Huge bonfire on my server

When looting at the NW Airfield, I noticed a huge bonfire in the distance. Is this a glitch or is this a hack? I mean this is one HUGE bonfire! It looks like a nuke went off in the distance. I haven't investigated cuz my survivor is kitted out and I don't want to run into unnecessary trouble. Has anyone else seen this in their server?

It's a bug when an aircraft crash and burns. Some players see the fire at the burning wreck magnified way out of proportion. You won't take any damage unless you get all the way up to the crash site and the fire accidentally cooks off. I'm not entirely sure if the only way to fix it is to restart the game or if the fire bug dissappears, when the wreck stops burning after 5 minutes.

Possibly a hacked chopper, because hackers can't fly worth shit.

Thanks for the input. There was a crashed chopper nearby, but I don't think it was hacked because it spawned zeds and loot.
