Updated to ArmA2 Beta 99153 which says the following in the patch notes:

To those experiencing problems with players not dying correctly I noticed a commit to dayz 1.7.4.1 yesterday that said "players with high profile id's not dying correctly" - do these players happen to have higher profile id numbers than normal?

Nothing earth shattering but I noticed after the update to 99153 there seems to be alot of entries of banned stuff(characters, vehicles) in the RPT log. I don't remember seeing it there before. Also our server(user id:WMgaming) initially wouldn't let anyone load in even if they updated to 99153 but after I manually restarted the server, seemed to work ok so not sure if any of this would be useful info for you but figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it.

We re-enabled the live map with some code optimizations, it seems to be working pretty well for now. We are monitoring the performance and hopefully won't have to disable it again.

No mate, all though a lot of ours had high ids, it was doing it with everyone with very low ids to, including mine.

In our case wiping our database fixed it

I figured as much, I've only scanned the RPT for building spawning issues and making sure wrecks/care packages were spawning correctly so I certainly could have missed that before. Thanks for the info ersan.

Everyone wants taviana almax, but the guy has not released the server files.

It appears a few servers have managed to somehow use the files that are available, make there on misson file now and host a taviana server. Not a clue how they have done it though

You can host it but you have to disable signature verification, which means hacker central - we opt not to.

Yeah sorry I keep archiving that email because I can't figure out what's wrong - it's writing Nameplates="" instead of Nameplates=0 and I haven't been able to figure out why, will take another look tonight.

Since last server update, some clients are experiencing crashes entering the server (Namalsk 0.60 / Arma 99153). Clients updated via DayZ Commander.

Can you check please?

Why is that it seems to be only Dayz.st that is affected by this invulnerable vehicles "DayZ bug"?

I play on other servers, besides my own dayz.st server, and they all take damage normally.

The vehicle save damage script is very blatantly commented out in the dayz code.

Heard about this from tons of different servers not just our own. It is possible to manually patch it, maybe they have done so. In any case 1.7.4.3 should be out this week.

I can live with vehicles repairing themselves for now..what i hate is i cant shoot vehicles and do damage to those driving by :( Even shooting out wheels does nothing.

Question to Dayz.st. When do you think you will have some more UK servers free. I have been bitten by survivalservers lack of communication with support. I have a server with a unknown status, I cant connect. I cant get in to access my server. So, im looking else where. So, when will you have some more UK servers in stock.

To Daz.st customers, How are these guys with support and communcation? I dont mind downtime, as long as im kept in the loop. So out of 10 1 been bad, 10 been good. Can you rate there communication and support.

I would honestly have to say 9/10. Dont get put off with the "Live Support" on the website being always offline (10/10 when thats gone). The replies in this forum post alone and at irc chat website:

His very fast and the lads very open when the shit hits the fan. Only seen two issues in the first 3 weeks of hosting and that was due to the DB being hacked and a dmg eletrical cable. Both times Ersan reacted very fast to get the server up and running again.

Hopefully they will have some UK servers in soon, Im gonna switch as this none contact is really a deal breaker from survivalservers. Something that needs a constant contact with supprt such as server renting, But there is none.

Anyway Dayz.St, looking forward to seeing that UK server tag say "ORDER NOW"

We are getting VERY bad desync in our server mainly while driving/flying - drivers of vehicles gets along just fine, passengers will see the vehicle flip, and then freeze and it will not go back to normal sometimes until the driver has driven over 1000k from the point of they see the vehicle frozen. This seems to have started at the point of the 99153 update, as we did not have the issue anywhere near this bad before (would get the occasional desync, but it would clear up within seconds, not minutes). We get this bad desync no matter how many or few players are online on our server (the first one we noticed was with just 6 people on the server and the vehicle desynced by Object All and did not right itself until the driver had gone north of the Dam in Namalsk).

We have more servers coming in Salt Lake City and London, they will hopefully be available late tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Send an e-mail with your username and I'll take a look, but I don't think there is much I can do - all of the servers have very low CPU usage and have since 1.7.3 came out, I think it's just unoptimized code in DayZ itself - 1.7.4.3 is supposed to come out this week sometime I'm hoping that it fixes it.

Former SurvivalServers customer here, the difference is like night and day. DayZ.st is helpful and informative in very reasonable time frames, SurvivalServers is none of that.

I notice that servers are currently listed as 'out of stock'. Any idea when they will be back in stock?

Tomorrow afternoon we *should* have Salt Lake City and London available, but no guarantee.

Here too.. by some days things are getting worse. :( ...but my problem seems to be the database, i noticed the slowness even when deleting a single record or such, it seems the hardware is struggling.

We just ordered a new database server that should be online tomorrow, we believe there may be some rare instances of lag spikes and desync with our current database server - the new one is about 6 times faster than the old one and should provide plenty of room for growth.

Also to anyone hosted in Dallas - there was a problem with one of our three dallas nodes that would occasionally redirect people trying to connect to the wrong server on the machine (if you tried to join and it asked you for a password when your server doesn't have one, this applies to you), we believe it is now fixed, sorry for the inconvenience.
