Bug or hack? Backpack lost.

I had just found my first ghillie suit and was rather chuffed as I had not long found myself an alice backpack as well but was in cherno so I began running north. I put the ghille suit on then started heading north and a message came up saying a player had been kicked for hack #35 or something like that. I stopped to fill up my canteen and when I opened my gear my alice backpack was gone and had been replaced for the coyote patrol pack! Is this a bug? I knew there was a lot of problems with the ghillie suit or is this possibly what the hacker had did?

I figured I'd ask the forums before I reported it as some sort of bug.

when you switch clothing it puts the backpack that you had when you first logged in

so if you started with coyote and swapped to alice and put on the ghillie without giving it time to save then relogging

the game will put your old backpack on but with the items you had in your new one (if you had 15 items in an alice it will randomly choose 8 and put them in the coyote)

either way before you put on a clothing change (or see your humanity is about to force one) relog and let your character save

edit: or drop your bag and equip the clothing then pick it back up

sounds like someone hacked all your items to themself when you was off the server.

Known issue with ghillie suit, search is your friend.

Next time, drop your pack, put on ghillie, pick up pack.

When you put a Skin on, ALWAYS drop your BP first on the ground, lots of time the BP change to Coyote(Patrol). Realy annoying when you had a Coyote(Backpack)...

so for the next time, go to a save place, drop your Backpack and Change Skin... if you had your Alice/Coyote long enouth b4 you change skin, sometimes it's dube your Alice/Coyote and you have 2 ;)

Before I put on the Ghillie I had camo clothing but I haven't got rid of the camo clothing. So if I put that back on will I get my alice backpack back?

but Alicepack is common as Makarov ammo. :D

Ah well the fact I have a ghillie lessens the blow :) Yeah, It's just annoying to be back to the original pack :L
