GUID banning (Private Hive)

Hi, I have recently read through the General Server Sticky on administration but I have recently had an issue that I need help with.

I am an admin of a Private Hive server and I have had to Ban a few people for spawning in vehicles and rascism. The problem is, on a few occaisions I have banned a players GUID and a totally different player got banned.

I am using BERcon and when I type the /ban (guid#) command it bans someone else. Does the player I'm banning need to be in the server at the time I ban them? I have been kicking them and then banning.

Any help would be appreciated.

You would be better off using DaRT. It's on the forums. Will solve all your problems.
