I found a cheater

Name: KaKaIIIKa

Server: FR 15

Time that it happened: 4:00am GMT+2

Timezone server GMT-6

What happened during the incident:

I played with 3 friends, 1 friend die by a shoot of sniper (probably DMR) far away from me and my other friend. Me and my friend runaway with a car and he continue shooting far far away then the first kill. He teleported all the time and killing people of the server including me and my friends after respawn.

He doesn't need evidence. Forum guidelines specifically state in order for you to post a report on these forums you must list the name of the hacker, server, time it happened and what took place. Video evidence and screenshots are not required but are nice to get. Thread 2 (sticky) as soon as you enter the cheat section of the forums.

Once you post your report with the required information we need we will look into this report and work with the server hosts them selves to cross-ban these cheaters if convicted.

I'm actually going to just start ignoring your posts as you're just trolling now.

You know what, that really upsets me - actually you know what it really doesn't. You bound around terms like troll yet your posts are full of so much abuse I want to punch your stupid face.

You pontificate as if your word is the only word to be taken on these forums. Yes IP addresses are relatively personal, they can be abused - the chances they're going to be? Very slim.

The way you're banging on about it you make it sound as if their computer IS going to get hacked. Given the majority of people connected to the internet are doing so through a router, I'm sure most of them will sleep fairly well.

So forgive me if I don't give a rat fuck, you keep spouting on these forums and telling half-truths and I'll keep putting you in your place till you learn some god damn manners.

I was with him and it is true, the first was killed near Nadezhdino more or less at coordinates [long, lat] 56.17 and when we were in a vehicle in good condition to more than 1.5 km we turned toward Stary Sobor and having advanced more than 2.5 km since the vehicle was fully functional.

On the hill just before Stary Sobor appears next to us when we were watching with thermal vision and kills us, when there had been over 10 min.

At least it is not investigated because subjective opinion is that it is real. Davilongo hero has skin of humanity survivor and 4000 since 2500 and I just started, I mean that we are not whiners bandits simply denounce injustices who is responsible for what this subject is unbearable and playing up illegally, damaging the quality of this mod.

I understand what you are saying, but you're asking admins to take action, or at the very least DayZ to take action, on two people coming here and saying someone was cheating. Although it can be a pain to set up, this is the very reason why Fraps is invaluable.

Neither fraps would help.. i could film a cheater (or even setup one...) and then saying it is you. During the video you won't see the GUID .. and even if nicknames are on, you can change em with the one of the "victim". All this stuff (and this whole forum section) is pointless at the moment: it's players words (pretending to be admins) versus other players words (accused to be cheaters), and none knows who's lying and who's telling the truth. This is why no actions are taken at the moment (nor from this site admins/devs/battleye).

It still random players accusing other random players of cheating, doing it here or doing it on any amateur (not official) website on the web doesn't make any difference: you're Gogster as i'm WalkerDown, your word (as mine) has no importance, you may be a cheater or a troll, i'll never know.

I'm not here to bash others valuable work and good intentions, but to prove that the current system is flawed on many levels... to "force" who's in charge to do so, to deploy (finally) a official (and good) method to fight the cheaters, coz the current one doesn't work at all.

You're right, a lot of what we do is done on trust, especially when it comes to the CBL as a single admin is, potentially, banning from multiple servers. It's small comfort but at least admins cannot implement global bans and the player is free to go play on other servers that do not use the CBL.

It won't change whilst BE is the anti-cheat system, or at least until BE gets a massive overhaul.
