Any info/eta on Tent fix/next patch?

Every attempt I make at playing, on almost all servers, results in the server eating my tent or eating the items in it.

Is there any info on when this well be fixed, or when the next patch will be assuming they are going to fix it then?

Very frustrating not being able to play at the moment.

simple fact is the ones who ask (and ask, and ask) when the next patch will be are the first ones to moan when it doesn't come the second that date rolls around.

What's the point, though?

I've got all the tools I need. I've got a good gun, food, water bottles.

What's the point of going out and raiding towns for more items if I can't store any of it?

Just to upgrade my gun to a slightly better one? Eh, that's boring.

And I don't like ruining people's fun and killing them for no reason, so being a bandit is not an option for me.

At this point, with no way to save items, DayZ holds no point for me.

I understand if others play the game a little different than I do, and that's fine - this is just how I enjoy to play.

I don't really care about a firm date, actually.

I'm just sitting here, wondering, "Hmm, I wonder how long it will be until I can actually get back to enjoying this game? A week? A month? Ever?".

The private hives I tried had too many issues for me.

I've thought about killing myself.

the private hives have fewer issues though.

many have tent/vehicle saving and some even have base building of sorts.

not to mention (often) more active admins, a whitelist/password etc

Revert BACK to 1.7.2.4 and play on .4 servers.
