Days Lived

How about a bonus for total days lived. Perhaps +250 hp every 7 days for a maximum of 15k hp, or whatever. It is lost when you die.

A total days lived stat displayed as well. So we can see how long we have managed to stay alive since that is the object of the game.

Just a wierd idea I had. It doesn't punish or reward bandits or survivors. It just gives a slight bonus for staying alive longer.

Thoughts?

Id go for a days lived stat - but not a HP reward.

If the point of the mod is to survive, rewards for surviving would make sense.

Possibly experience points every 7th day surviving.

+5% stamina.

+10% stamina.

+15% stamina.

+5% reduction to thirst.

+10% reduction to thirst.

+15% reduction to thirst.

+5% reduction to hunger.

+10% reduction to hunger.

+15% reduction to hunger.

+5% to blood.

+10% to blood.

+15% to blood.

Reward bonuses are all pretty minor, thus not too imbalanced. It would take a great effort, to increase your bonuses to a degree were they really make a difference.

The longer you survive the better shape you get in, better cardio, better living off the land ect.

I think it'd be cool if there were special perks for surviving for designated periods of time. An example would be survive 10 days and aquire a set of co-ordinates to a vehicle or spawn with map, something like that, survive 20-30 days and gain the ability to respawn with current weapon after you are killed. Surviving beyond 30 days allows you to pick a spawn point on map with your current weapon but at least 300m from where u died.

EDIT: Also the type of game u play will affect the perks. Being a pure bandit will negate accrued survival days, for every 3 murders of a survivor a survival perk day is lost.

idea is good but not for items.

If anything a special skin to use.. something that isn't really giving an advantage except for a style.

needs to be in-game time so no idling

bonus aquired every 112 hours (168[week]-56[seven days' sleep])

skin alterations are a nono - just makes the older guy a target
