I haven't actually come across a single bear trap.

Set or in a loot spawn.

Do they even spawn? Or are they just rather rare?

They spawn, loot farming high value and long barns can get you some, 3 hours of farming got me 1 beartrap, 2 cz550s, and loads of crap. Not worth it.

we got a bandit camp around and we want to think them about how it is getting ripped off when you expect it the least ....
