In Game Map Problem?

First couple times i had one it would display the entire playing field. Last several times i get only 1 quadrant and if im lucky it will be the Quad im in. Sometimes i can zoom out and see more area but detail is lost and it isn't helpful. Is this a know bug? Working as designed? (most likely) Are my map skills worse than a 12 year old female? Any and all input appreciated.

Side note: because of the above my land marking skills have improved so using the DayZDB map in conjunction has been working decently well.

yee its always a good idea to use an online map

ur issue might be caused by corrupt data in arma 2 files, although if that actually happened i think arma2 wont run.

u seem to be playing with steam, so i suggest u right click on arma 2 oa, properties, check local cache fies 9or something like that) then do same thing for arma 2 itself.

Thanks for the ideas. Not sure where u refer to the "check local cache fies 9or something" The .exe file or where but i didnt find it. Dont usually run steam.

Right click on game icon in Steam window/properties/local/verify integrity of game cache.

I doubt that that will fix the problem.

Scroll wheel to zoom in & out, RMB to hold & drag, double click LMB to set markers/waypoints.

Also set screen resolution to native monitor size and 3D resolution to same in game graphics options.
