Hey, my friend asked me to borrow him my steam account so he can download the Arma 2 and the Arma 2 OA. I´m wondering if thats possible, so that he only uses my steam account once to download the files, because Steam is not needed to play DayZ, right? So can he actually download the files from me and then simply download DayZ Commander and download DayZ?

AFAIK It would work, but DayZ uses your OA cd key, so you will both be using the same DayZ account/character, you won't be able to play at the same time and whatever your friend does with the account would also affect you. I wouldn't recommend it.

Hm, is it possible for him to buy a new CD key then for another account since the CD keys are pretty cheap.
