People that hoard random items in piles/tents in stary?

Anyone else seen people do this? i joined a swedish server yesterday and there was 4 giant piles of random guns/loot just sitting outside the tents at stary do you think it was hacked or just someone leaving the loot for another surviver that he didnt need?

I would say just clearing tents so more items would spawn. That way they could get better gear

That's called "maximum looting"

Set up tent near military spawns.

Take every single item from spawns.

Dump into tent.

Repeat.

Once every item has been taken from the spawns (tin cans, and ammo clips included) the game recycles the spawns with new gear. So... now you know lol.

Hell of a job, it means there are at least 3 guys. Two looting and 1 providing sniper cover, but most likely its a bigger group, because Stary has a lot of flank options. I believe 3 looters and 3 snipers are the minimum that is required to max loot those tents in Stary safe. Well, the therm "safe" is just imaginary here.
