AU46 banned for being a dick

Im going to start off by saying I had just started playing DayZ the day I got banned, so I am not very good at it but I know sorta how to play. Also what I did was really dog, and I am sorry.

So I have been killed and killed many times, which put me in a crap mood. So I swim slowly to an island to meet my friend who I was playing with. Halfway through I turn around and see a bandit aiming at me, I say friendly and swim towards the coast. He was very nice to me and was standing still, I then take a peek in his backpack and see an ASSO sniper. My finger just clicked the arrow and the gun went in my hands, I didn't think about taking it but it was so tempting. Then I panic, he saw me with his gun and I thought that he would kill me, so I aim down the scope and empty the whole mag into him. He is lying on the floor and said in voice chat that he was giving me stuff. At that point I felt horrible. Moments after I get banned of the server for hacking/cheating, he may have thought I was cheating because the gun came from his bag and popped into my hands.

So an unban would be nice, I didn't quite catch the bandits name though.

AU46 hey? I have submitted a server report about these guys. You clearly killed one of their clan members and they kicked you for it. They openly admit to doing it, but for some reason nothing is being done about it.

Also you probably didn't recieve a global ban, so you can play in other servers, just not AU46. Did you catch the name of the guy you killed by any chance? Their clan members all seem to have BB at the start of their names, or they use the initials BB in their name.

We had the same issue with them a while ago, we took it up in Australian Reddit and the admin came on and admitted to banning people bacause his clan members told him they were hacking (after the players shot his clan members, sound familiar to you?)

Wow, what a dick. Atleast you can apologise, I admire that though. You shouldn't have been banned, if that is what really happened. The admins can look through the logs (they're supposed to) so you're wrongfully banned.

If you want the full story of what happened to us in that incident, one of my mates PM'ed the admin of that server and he also admitted to banning the players based on the word of clan members (who had just been shot).

Guys like this are screwing the game, sure its not aswidespread as hacking, but hacking is like a player cheating.. Admins cheating and favoring one group is like the referees cheating. It means the whole game is corrupted. Clans like this need to piss off and run their server as a private hive so they dont con honest players.

And for all the people who say "just pick another server" I have run into at least one of these guys in other servers, and they are packed with gear, no doubt due to the fact that they can run riot on "their own" server and then use that to get an advantage when they move to other servers.

1. I was the admin that banned buzzholio & grudge.

2. I had one of my clan members shout out that buzzholio & grudge were hacking. As best I can gather their reasoning for this was that a hacker was on the server killing people, and someone assumed that the people in the helicopter where hacking. I know that one of our clan mates had checked the island chopper spawn some time previously and considered it's repair so quickly suspicious.

I am one of the admins of AU46 and I am also the one who banned you and the person you had shot with the AS50 I would like to say I am sorry as I was very new to server administration and I was very suspicious when I actually didn't know I had an AS50 in my backpack and you appeared to me like you had literally pulled an AS50 out of thin air and shooting me. not to mention already being annoyed with hackers (being turned into a fu**ing rabbit 3 times within 2 hours) but I will remove this ban ASAP and have informed my admins to NOT ban anyone without having evidence in the logs and also they now have to submit a ban report with the evidence attached.
