Just found a huge camp.

So I was running along the west coast looking for camps, when I found the motherlode.

A campsite of about 30+ tents within a 800 meter radius. There were two motorcycles, and a bus, and every tent had great items in it. I was looking around at all the tents, when all of a sudden I hear footsteps. I'm sure you all know what comes next.. SHAKING, and HARD heartbeats, lol.

All I could do was stand still and look around without trying to make noise or be seen. Luckily I had just grabbed a L85 and was looking around, and SAW SOMEONE!

I tapped "D" a few times just to move to the right without making and noise, scope in, BAM! Headshot, and kill someone. Only then I saw another player! Just as I was about to shoot him, he backed out into the lobby, stayed there about 10 minutes, then disconnected from the server.

Now I just need to find a way to transfer most of these items :)

BTW, This is my first real "huge" campsite that I've ever stumbled across. This is why I love DayZ!

You should have stayed hidden and used their camp as a refit area in case you die.

They probably would not have found out for a very long time if you only took what you needed every now and then.

I don't think it was their camp though.. they were running around checking all the tents as well.. and rode up on a motorbike.

Sounds like a dupers or scripter's camp.

Still, lucky for you, nice find.

I remember finding one that had completely sealed off the NW airports north barracks. with about 15 or so tents and a sandbag system that stopped the zombies from making it to you from the barracks spawn.

Shit was cash.
