Dont think I'm gonna play much at night without NVG's anymore

Recommended Posts

Met a few guys and they seemed cool and weren't much of a threat to me (one was on his first day playing and the other had a couple weeks exp). I offered to join them to the hospital as I wanted 1 or 2 more things of morphine and an extra gun wouldn't hurt. Then, one went afk for a beer and the other went afk at the same time, when some bandits with silenced M4's came in after us. I am assuming they had NVG's and were listening to us direct chat for a while before deciding to attack while the guys were AFK.

I cant confirm hits on my target because of how dark it was + muzzle flash, but I had his nameplate lit up a bunch (only night server with a decent amount of people online).

anywho, here it is.

See, I am not always an evil man, I give people the benefit of the doubt when I meet them and they seem OK.

Only encountered 2 people on night servers that were close enough to be considered a threat.

One was a hacking, combat-logging douche, and the other was a poor soul who had the bad luck of being 5 feet in front of me when a flash of lightning lit up cherno in the middle of a storm on a pitch black server.

The hacker got killed after killing my crew, and the poor lightning guy was destroyed when I simply pounded my left mouse button until I ran out of ammo in my mp5 clip.... IN PURE SHOCK.

Should have cranked up the brightness and Gamma :) , poor man's NVG.

I hate the way the game looks when doing that, but I would still be alive (maybe) if I did lol.

There were 2 shooters, and 2 prone AFK's in the station so 4 people + me.

at 2:03 you can see the first bandit killing the prone AFK guy to my left. I thought it was just him so I moved to give myself an ambush point then noticed the second bandit run it at 2:07 and I was exposed to him so I decided to engage bandit #2 first.

In hindsight, I should have let the AFK guys die and moved into the stair well and wait for them to come up.

In "real" hindsight, I should have took off and left the guys I met and let them screw around at the fire station... I had everything I needed to get out of town :(
