agippo 37 Posted September 2, 2012 Can anyone tell me the usual timelines / process for getting a post up on the "server reporting" thread?I (think I) submitted a report 4-5 days ago, but it doesnt seem to have come up on the forum yet.I did note that there was an approvals process for the threads and they didnt go up without being approved, which makes a lot of sense but now I am starting to wonder If i made an error in my submission.The case itself wasnt very contentious, The admin of the server in question openly admitted banning players due to them killing clan members and these statements were provided.Are there just heaps of case to work through and I need to wait a bit, or is it possibel I havent submitted my report properly and I need to do it again.Just looking for some idea of how long this process normally takes. There doesnt seem to be many new posts on that thread at all for the last 2 weeks. I suspect also the few that have been added to the server reporting thread since that date have been posts moved from other threads into "server reports" rather than posts made through the "official" reporting process .Take this one for example, http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/84461-au-1-server-admin-abuse/ It didnt go through the approval process, as there is a mention that it was transferred in from another thread. (its also got no evidence to support the claim and I suspect would have never been approved if it was audited).Are we wasting time reporting dodgey servers and collecting evidence, or is this still something DayZ is interested in hearing about? agippo 37 Posted September 3, 2012 Just trying to alert others to the cheaters and let DayZ know which admins are cheapening the DayZ exprience for others.Some admins seem to see it as "my server, my rules" the odd thing is, its Rockets Mod, and he made some clear rules about how servers need to be run if you choose to run one (as far as I know Rocket doesnt go around with a crack team of NZ's toughest sheepherders and force server owners to run hs game) You say go to another server, I say make your game a private hive if you cant abide by the rules, then you can have it all your way and nobody cares. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If we make a mistake they get unbanned.The mod is much bigger than the man, you think he's sat there holding the cards, looking to see how people are running it? You're delusional, he's off making the standalone and we're running the servers, exactly how I like to run them.Time is never wasted on server reporting.
