Instantly faint when I spawn

This is really annoying. It happened last time I got killed. Every time I spawn in a server, I instantly faint and the hourglass just doesn't go down at all. I've tried switching servers, creating a new character and waiting it out but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

I had the same bug once, I just got someone to come and kill me.

The way I fixed this was.

Login in to any server when you get to the Loading screen just before spawn press escape this will bring up the menu. Then hit respawn and make sure you see the You're Dead screen wait about ten mins on this screen then retry (important to wait so the server syncs).

You will lose your stuff but you will be back in the game.
