jacket13 1 Posted September 1, 2012 There are so many hackers online, how is it any fun? I log into a random populated server near cherno, set my sniper to 900 zeroing, pop 2 hackers a headshot loot their corpses,I got what? 10x AS50 TWS's 14x gps, 14x range finder, 14x NVG, 5x cco S. crap tons of ammo, hacked mountain dews.these people just respawns, spawn gear again and start camping the same spots ~_~ well its not hard to counter snipe with a AS50 TWS so I can understand why they do it but it's really OUT OF CONTROL and there has to be done something about it. Maxgor 2314 Posted September 1, 2012 Hackers? In DayZ? I think your lying...As for being any fun, I usually steer clear of the really populated servers, so I rarely come across them. Nothing can be done about them till standalone.
Nyz 42 Posted September 1, 2012 The game is fun, hackers and all because there is currently no other game on the market that in my opinion offers this kind of experience. Im an old school UO type guy that loved the fear of loss pre trammel had. No other game has offered that kind of thrill to me sense. Sure it sucks to lose progress but I still enjoy the experience.

How long have you been playing? Do you have any idea hoe bad hacking used to be? Are you even paying attention to the fact that BattlEye, while shoddy, is working constantly to better their security and IT IS WORKING? Thigh are getting better, but even if they weren't I would like you to stop playing as I am certain you are an irritating and obnoxious human being who has little care for anyone but themselves and their oh so knowledgeable and entitled opinion...Go hotbox some Raid

GhillieBandit 24 Posted September 1, 2012 While the game has a lot of problems in its current form, its truly one of the best games I've played. After playing DayZ with the way you have to constantly be on alert, keeping in mind your food/water management, blood level, temperature, zombies and other players - nothing else seems like it even comes close to it. There's nothing more fun I've found in any game than realizing you're almost right on top of another player. The level of stress and excitement gives me a thrill I've yet to experience in any other game. So yes, even though this game is plagued by hackers, duplicators, and exploiters I still love this game. Unpredictability makes this game amazing.
{CQF} PFC Demyan 43 Posted September 1, 2012 With all due respect, Hacking will be a non-entity in a month and if you aren't playing on servers with active and knowledgeable admin then you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Try 24/7 Daytime Finders server, or the Homeland private hive and drop this pathetically stale sofistry

{CQF} PFC Demyan 43 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) I have been playing Day since May, and there is no chance that I will ever admit defeat or bow out because of hackers. Things are getting better slowly but surely and if you can't handle slow progress or even reassure yourself that in a month it will be history then you really shouldn't be here wasting your time or ours. There are plenty of "stable" and "safe" games for you to enjoy elsewhere. And why join private servers? Vigilante admin with constant monitoring and knowledge of Arma 2 coding, up to 150 extra persistent vehicle spawns, constant maintenance, care for their players and active. Solid communities that are not as easily exploitable, more interactive and have collaborative events that put your concept of DayZ's engage to shame. But in the end I doubt you care enough to do anything but bitch and moan and I am simply wasting my words. deathstrike616 32 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) Zombies aren't a challenge. With the trick where you can aggro as many zombies as you want, abort, rejoin in literally 5 seconds, and they'll all be gone, soon noone will give a crap about zombies anymore. Any zombie problem can now be solved with a quick, 5 second, painless disconnect. It seems combat log is now universal.yes thats very true, but I find it to get a big boring after 50 hours, you know all the spots and you know how to easily manage your health, food, water, zombies become more a pain then a challenge.you can also just do /admitdefeat. you know it, I know it battleye is desperate and the blunt server messages proof that. and why would I hop on a private server? that defeats the current system and is nowhere fun if you aren't starting fresh out with everyone else. Let's purge the database completely, so that legit players are back to Makarovs and Enfields, while scripters keep spawning AS50 TSWs. An already wide gap was just tripled.Banning by inventory isn't reliable and won't be implemented, because an inventory check provides no actual proof.
